Bleed is an area usually 3mm to 5mm larger than the actual artwork on all four sides and is required for artworks that have visuals extending out of the edge. This is to ensure that there are no unsightly white edges when artwork is being printed.
What is the difference between a vector and an image?
Vector consists of paths which can allow your designer and printer to edit your images without distorting. It can also be scaled to very large without losing quality.
Image is stored as a series of pixels and are not suitable to be edited and printed in professional softwares.
What is RGB and CMYK?
RGB refers to the primary colours of light; Red, Green, Blue and is usually used in devices such as monitors, mobile phones. CMYK refers to the primary colours of pigment; Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black and this combination creates black.
There will be a difference of how you view your artworks in RGB mode and CMYK mode, thus it is mandatory to ensure that your artworks are created in CMYK to ensure that it is the accurate effect that you want.
Recommended software to design your artworks?
Adobe Photoshop is suitable for editing images and creating graphics.
If you need to draw complex shapes, illustration or layout pages, Adobe Illustrator will be suitable.
However, for large artworks such as newsletters, annual reports, Adobe Indesign will be the best as it can hold much larger files than Adobe Illustrator.
What file formats do your accept for printing?
We accept the following file formats: PDF, Adobe Illustrator (AI), Adobe Photoshop (PSD), EPS, TIFF, JPEG/JPG, PNG *Note: For JPG/PNG/TIFF files, please ensure that the artwork is in high resolution of recommended 300dpi.

What is your lead time?
Our lead time varies with each product. Do check with our friendly staff when you are placing an order. Our average lead time for most of our products is approximately 1-2 days after payment has been made. However, we are able to print within the day itself for certain products at additional urgent charges. For bulk orders or more complicated orders, the lead time may take longer.
